Bookings and their record

Bookings live in Calendario (Calendar): each one is a bar over its room and nights, whether it came from the website, a channel or the front desk. Click it and its record opens; from there you handle almost all of the day-to-day.

Finding a booking

On the Reservas (Bookings) layer of Calendario, each booking is a bar with the guest’s name. To go straight to one, press Ctrl+K (⌘K on Mac) and type the guest’s name or the booking reference: its record opens without hunting for it in the grid.

  • Search: ⌘K finds the guest by name or by the booking reference.
  • Move: drag the bar to another room or stretch its edges to change the dates.
  • Create: click a free slot → “Crear reserva” (Create booking).

Booking and payment statuses

The booking travels through a lifecycle with its own colors, and payment has its own independent status. Learning to read them tells you at a glance what is happening with each booking.

CancelledNo-show
Confirmed → In house → Completed, plus Cancelled and No-show.
  • Statuses: Confirmed (blue) → In house (green) → Completed (gray). Cancelled and No-show have their own color.
  • Payment: Paid, Deposit (paid a part), Unpaid or Refunded.

A booking’s record

At the top, the booking reference, room, dates and channel. Below, three tabs: Información (holder, internal note, room, dates and extras), Check-in (guest registration and police report) and Pago (breakdown, payment and invoice). “No se presentó” (No-show) and “Cancelar la reserva” (Cancel booking) are at the bottom, and a cancelled booking can be restored from there.
