Your first day: get the hotel ready

The setup checklist

Follow these steps top to bottom. Each one unlocks the next: without rooms there is nothing to price, and without rates and payments your website can’t sell.

1. 1

   Review your rooms

   Configuración → El hotel → Habitaciones (Rooms): names, capacity, units and base price per night.

2. 2

   Set your rates

   Configuración → Precios y venta → Tarifas (Rates): base price, seasons (e.g. summer), channel markup and taxes (VAT, tourist tax). Discounts and promotions have a screen of their own: Configuración → Precios y venta → Campañas y Ofertas.

3. 3

   Connect payments

   Configuración → Tu web y los canales → Conexiones → Pagos: connect Stripe and choose the payment policy. Without this, your website cannot charge for bookings.

4. 4

   Add your team

   Configuración → Equipo y seguridad → Equipo: add front desk and housekeeping with the right role.

5. 5

   Publish your website

   Configuración → Tu web y los canales → Tu web: pick a template, review the texts in Studio and press “Publicar” (Publish).

To check that the external services are ready, go back to Configuración → Tu web y los canales → Conexiones: the green banner means connected and verified.
